Family Law Solicitor

A rewarding career with Everingham Solomons awaits a lawyer wishing to join our family law team.

The successful applicant will have-

  • Three to five years minimum post admission experience
  • Experience in family law property and parenting matters
  • Experience in advocacy in both Family Court, Federal Magistrates Court and Local Court
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • A strong desire to practice long term in a regional setting

Paralegal / Administrator

Everingham Solomons is a seeking an experienced legal administrator/paralegal, law student or law graduate to fulfil a position in the firm.

You will be responsible for the following:

Typing correspondence, preparing legal documents
Transcription from dictation
Conducting property searches and attending settlements
Liaising with clients and third parties
Opening and closing files
Diary and email management
Coordinating the lodgement of documents
Creating and editing documents; and
Preparing probate documents and ancillary correspondence.

The ideal candidate will have:

Ideally the applicant will have 2 years’ experience as a legal administrative assistant in the areas of conveyancing, estates and litigation, be proficient with Microsoft Office, possess excellent customer service skills, have attention to detail, ability to constantly prioritise, be well presented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  The successful applicant however may also be a law student or law graduate seeking some hands on experience albeit in an administrative role

The position is a full-time position.
